The latest technological achievements led to the development of various devices that considerably ease the life of visually impaired.
One of the latest inventions in this field is called VIA (which stands for Visually Impaired Assistant) and it was designed by Noam Klopper
The user wears the device on their hand. It is worth mentioning that VIA features 4 mini cameras and a GPS receiver. The latter helps the wearer dodge obstacles.

Simone Giostra & Partners Architects came up with this SolPix display, which represents a combination of solar shielding and media wall. The blinds in SolPix feature built-in photovoltaics and LEDs.
To make the LED display work, the PV makes use of solar energy. The system within the giant display is able to monitor its own performance and illustrate it in moving graphics that play throughout the facade.

Robotics make interesting gadgets and new inventions. This new tech gadget is no exception because it can actually climb walls.
The robot named ROCR (pronounced "rocker") is an oscillating climbing robot that mimics the motion of human rock climbers and combines it with the motion of apes swinging through trees.
Details of this new tech gadget were published in the journal of Transactions and Mechantronics.
